That number does more work than any claim we could make about ourselves.
A lot of what we do is long-lived operational software — systems that someone will still be depending on in 2035. Commissioning that from a firm founded three years ago is a real risk, and it’s a risk that usually isn’t discussed until the supplier is gone.
We’ve been through the client-server era, the move to web, the move to cloud, and now whatever this is. Most of the technologies we were expert in twenty years ago are gone. The judgement about what to build, what to leave alone, and what will be expensive to regret has compounded the whole time.
How we’re built
We’re deliberately small and deliberately senior.
There is no account management layer. There is no junior developer being trained on your project. The person who scopes your system is the person who designs it and the person you call when something breaks.
We extend that core with a trusted development team we’ve worked with for years, mobilised to the size a project needs. What we don’t do is grow headcount to look impressive, or carry a bench that has to be fed with work.
We’re also genuinely AI-augmented, which is the only reason a team this size can produce the output it does. That’s not a marketing position — it’s how the work gets done, and it’s why we can advise on the subject without either evangelism or panic. We built our own security scanning tooling that way.
Jon Stephens
Jon founded the business and still leads every project’s architecture personally.
He’s the person you’ll meet on the first call and the person who’ll design your system. If that sounds like a bottleneck, it is one — deliberately. It’s also why our clients get straight answers rather than managed ones.

How we work
We tell you when the answer is no. Sometimes an existing product will serve you better than anything we could build. We’d rather lose the work than take a fee for something you’ll regret in two years.
Cost is visible before you commit. Fixed scope, fixed price per phase, and changes discussed rather than invoiced.
Everything is built to be handed over. Documented, tested, and yours. You should stay with us because the relationship works, not because leaving would be painful.
We hold ourselves to what we sell. Client data stays in the UK. Audit trails are standard in everything we build. This website ships no JavaScript, sets no cookies, and runs no third-party trackers.
